I can in no way be described as a gym bunny, in fact after a row with a massive gym chain (let’s just say, they don’t put the customer ‘first’) I have sworn never to set foot in a gym again. I don’t, however, want to turn into a massive super sized version of myself and because of my passionate love of cheese and all carbohydrates this requires work! Most students will quite happily spend money on what they see as essentials; e.g. food. However they then go buy pizza and convenience meals that contain more additives and preservatives than your average taxidermied dodo, with a small amount of forethought and a little effort you can save buckets on food as well as improving your diet (which will help ward off … Continue Reading

May 27, 2011

Delaying, frittering, prorogation or idling – they all amount to the same thing PROCRASTINATION. We all do it to varying degrees and around this joyful time of exams your average procrastinator goes into overdrive. People find all sorts of amazing distractions that need doing urgently in place of revision, cleaning and reorganizing are obvious as well the standard crucial inter-house video game marathon. Everyone will write a revision schedule and unanimously fail to stick to it, mainly because apart from being ridiculously overambitious they completely cut out any kind of fun time, as a result only the first possibly second items on the list get ticked off.

Some brainy people that managed to put off procrastination … Continue Reading
